On Thursday Nov. 17, we presented a short talk and activity on watersheds and habitats for the after school program at the Mt. Uniacke Branch of the Colchester-East Hants Public Library. Kids learned about how watersheds work and the need for sustainable management practices. They also learned about the particular importance of the headwaters region of a watershed ... such as Mt. Uniacke. And they got to spray water! Fun times!
