Al will guide us through SOLAR 101 fundamentals and net metering basics. By highlighting the successes of the NS Pilot Program - Solar Energy for Community Buildings that ran from 2017-2019 Al will discuss the upcoming NS Shared Solar Program and energy projects like Solar Gardens.

Al is passionate about Solar Energy and helped lead his NEDCO Atlantic team into the NS Energy Conservation Market in 1998. He and his team were a major contributor in electrical energy conservation with Efficiency Nova Scotia in the 2000s. Al’s experience with NEDCO includes Financial Controller, Manager of Marketing and Manager of Customer Care and Operations.

Al established AGD Solar Energy Consulting and Contracting in 2013 after 35 years with NEDCO.
